Margaret Kostro
Coach

BIO:

Coach Kostro joined White Plains Elite in Fall, 2009.
She currently serves as Assistant Women's Coach at 
Manhattanville College.

Coach Kostro came to Manhattanville with a wealth of coaching experience, having spent four seasons working with the women’s soccer team at Stevens Institute of Technology. In 2007, she served as Associate Head Coach and helped guide the team to a 15-4-2 record and an ECAC Metro Tournament Championship. From 2004-06, Kostro served as an assistant coach with the Ducks, as the team amassed a 53-8-5 record, three Skyline Conference Championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances.

Kostro played collegiately at Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., serving as a four-year starter. She helped the Dutchwomen to two conference championships, two New York State Tournament Championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances, including the first NCAA Regional final berth in program history in 1999.

Kostro graduated from Union in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in geology and biology. A native of Westfield, N.J., Kostro currently resides in Purchase, N.Y.
